Ford Vehicles with Ford Pro Power On-Board

Ford vehicles with Pro Power Onboard include:

Ford E-Transit Van (2022 and newer)
Ford F-150 Truck (2021 and newer)
Ford Super Duty Truck (2023 and newer)
Ford F-150 Lightning Truck (2022 and newer)

There are four different Pro Power Onboard packages, and your package depends on the type of vehicle you select.

The configurations for each system are different, but they all share similar features. You’ll always find a set of outlets and USB ports in the rear, with extra charging options in the cabin. The Lightning also offers a power suite in the frunk (front trunk), with supplemental outlets and USB ports. With 2,000 Watts, you can power your handheld tools, portable speakers, battery packs, and plenty more. How to Use Ford Pro Power On-Board

Each model has a slightly different mode to activate extra charging. When your vehicle is turned on, you can turn on Generator mode and direct your power as needed. You can refer to your owners manual for more information, but here are the basic instructions to activate the generator for each system:

Ford F-150 2.0 kW, 2.4 kW, or 7.2 kW and Super Duty 2.0 kW Systems:

Open Pro Power from your infotainment touchscreen. Select Power and the Generator Mode.
Alternatively, press the Pro Power hard button on the dash (2.0 kW system) or above the touchscreen (2.4 kW and 7.2 kW systems).
Cargo bed outlets need to be turned on by pressing the power button at the outlet to activate.

Ford F-150 Lightning 2.4 kW and 9.6 kW Systems:

Open Pro Power from the infotainment touchscreen. Select Power and then Generator Mode.
Turn on outlets at the Mega Power Frunk and Cargo bed by pressing the power button.

Ford E-Transit 2.4 kW System:

Open Pro Power from the Infotainment Touchscreen.
Select Pro Power Onboard.
Switch rear outlets on.
Or, use the power button at the rear outlet to turn on.

Pro Power has plenty of daily functionality, with features that ensure you get the most from your Ford. You can easily keep track of your usage from your infotainment center, with notifications if you trip a circuit break by drawing too much power. Depending on your system, you can reset the breakers from the cargo bed or the touchscreen.

Pro Power allows you to charge while driving, ensuring you reach your destination with all your tools fully charged. Even when your Ford is parked, you can take your key, lock your truck, and idle while charging your electronics. Pro Power will continue to charge until the fuel or battery power is fully expended. On the Lightning, you can set up a battery reserve limit to make it home without your tools accidentally draining your truck too far.
