EV Ford Trucks for Sale at Bob Moore Ford Pro, Oklahoma City
As EV technology becomes more widespread, affordable, and improves in quality, businesses are starting to incorporate them into their fleets. We’re seeing government agencies and tech giants like Amazon begin to integrate electric vehicles (EVs) into their lineups, not because they’re greenwashing, but because they genuinely reduce costs and add value. At Bob Moore Ford Pro, we have a growing selection of new and used EVs to choose from, including the Ford F-150 Lightning and the Ford Maverick Hybrid. You’ll also find electrified cargo vans like the Ford E-Transit with us! While reduced fuel costs are the main reason to go green, you’ll also save on maintenance costs and time in the shop. With no need for oil changes or spark plugs, our electric Ford trucks and vans save Oklahoma business owners time and money. EVs also qualify for the federal tax credit of $7,500, making them an even more attractive option. If you’re on the fence or have more questions about how an EV can impact your business, contact Bob Moore Ford Pro.
Ford F-150 Lightning
The Ford F-150 Lightning is everything you love about the F-150, minus the hefty gas bill. Two motors replace the Lightning’s engine, giving you plenty of horsepower to play with. It comes with your choice of battery, including an Extended Range option that offers 320 miles of all-electric range. While the Lightning may not be as powerful as the gas F-150 lineup, it’s no pushover, delivering 10,000 lbs of towing capacity and a max payload of 2,000 lbs. Best of all, the Lightning can nearly recharge over a lunch break, capable of going from 15% to 80% charge in about 44 minutes. For now, the Lightning is only offered with a SuperCrew configuration, featuring four doors and ample room on the inside. It comes with a short, 5.5-foot bed. Over time, we expect the Lightning to diversify it’s powertrain and configuration options, similar to all the configurations available in the base Ford F-150. Ford’s smallest pickup truck is well-suited for patrol work, light towing, and everyday transportation, offering a perfect lightweight complement to heavy-duty vehicles in your fleet. The Maverick combines a four-cylinder engine with an electric motor to maximize performance and fuel economy. There are two engine options to choose from, both of which offer a 1,500 lbs payload capacity and up to 4,000 lbs of towing ability. Like the Lightning, the Maverick Hybrid comes in one configuration, offering a Crew Cab with a 4.5-foot bed. The star of the show is the hybrid powertrain’s fuel economy, where you can get up to 42 mpg in the city and up to 35 mpg on the highway. If you’re not quite ready to make the switch from an ICE truck to an EV, the Ford Maverick is a perfect middle ground.Ford E-Transit
The Ford E-Transit is an extension of Ford’s cargo van lineup, the Transit. The all-electric Transit ditches the engine for a single electric motor and a 89.0-kWh lithium-ion battery that offers 159 miles of driving range. We would recommend getting it with either the mobile charger or the charging station for easy charging at work or home. While the range is limited, when connected to a DC fast charger, you can recover 67 miles of range in 15 minutes. While the payload rating varies based on the configuration, you can achieve a total payload capacity ranging from 2,799 to 3,249 lbs. The E-Transit is available as a cutaway or a chassis cab, although most customers opt for the standard cargo van configuration. It’s offered with a 130-inch or 148-inch wheelbase, and three roof options:Roof Type: | Overall Height | Cargo Volume: |
Low Roof | 83.6 inches | 277.7 cubic feet |
Medium Roof | 100.8 inches | 357.1 cubic feet |
High Roof | 110.1 inches | 487.3 cubic feet |
