Built Ford Proud, is the 7.3-liter V8 gas engine, featuring a gas V8 output of 355 horsepower at 3,70 rpm, and torque of 468 lb-ft. The 7.3-liter has the largest displacement in its class and has an overhead valve that generates power low in the rev range to help get those heavier loads moving sooner, and with greater confidence. The 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel engine has a power range of 270 hp with 700 lb-ft of torque. You can also have your choice of two power ratings: 300 hp with 725 lb-ft of torque or 330 hp with 750 lb-ft of torque. The TorqShift HD 6-speed automatic handles the heavy torque of the diesel and gas engines with ease, and the TorqShift offers a live-drive power takeoff provision.
