Unyielding Power
Built Ford Proud, is the 7.3-liter V8 gas engine,
featuring a gas V8 output of 355 horsepower at 3,70 rpm, and torque of 468
lb-ft. The 7.3-liter has the largest displacement in its class and has an
overhead valve that generates power low in the rev range to help get those
heavier loads moving sooner, and with greater confidence. The 6.7-liter Power
Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel engine has a power range of 270 hp with 700 lb-ft of
torque. You can also have your choice of two power ratings: 300 hp with 725
lb-ft of torque or 330 hp with 750 lb-ft of torque. The TorqShift HD 6-speed
automatic handles the heavy torque of the diesel and gas engines with ease, and
the TorqShift offers a live-drive power takeoff provision.
Driver Assist Technology
The F-650 and F-750 Medium Duty trucks come
equipped with available driver assist technologies that help you feel
comfortable and in control. Driver assist features like hill start assist are
standard for hydraulic brake models, while the Driver-Assist Technology Package
features Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane-Keep
Alerts, and much more. Standard on all Ford Medium Duty models is Traction
control, which can help limit tire slip during acceleration on slippery
surfaces, on or off-road.
Built For Comfort
The 2023 Ford F-650 and F-750 aren’t just
built to work hard, they’re also built for comfort on the job. The interior of
the Ford Medium Duty is full of convenient features like steering wheel that
was designed with the drover in mind, the instrument cluster, tilt/telescoping
steering column with audio controls, and an uplifted interface module for quick
control over your devices. Part of the instrument cluster is a panel center
stack which includes a three-button message center, added storage, climate
control module, and the traction control switch. Suspension in the F-650 and
F-750 have been built with longer front leaf springs for added comfort, and an
available front stabilizer bar can provide better handling and stability.
F-650 and F-750 Tractors
The F-650 and F-750 tractor models expand vocational
applications such as beverage delivery or moving and storage with GCWRs of
50,000 pounds. These models are powered by the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 Turbo
Diesel engine, and built with Ford’s TorqShift HD 6-speed automatic
transmission. DRiver-assist technologies are included for the F-650 and F-750
tractor models, to better help with traction control, and electronic stability
while on the job.
